It’s Time to Say YES to Your Health and Well-being!

Congratulations on embarking on your new journey to health, wellness, and, of course, weight loss! We are thrilled to be a partner in your new adventure, and we wish you a warm welcome from all our staff, management and providers! We want you to have a fantastic experience, and we are committed to helping you in any way we can.

Losing weight takes courage, determination, and a willingness to look closely at yourself and your habits. And, while changing your habits will no doubt be important, the factor that actually determines your ability to succeed is your positive attitude.

There will be bumps in the road, and nobody will ever actually be perfect at following exact diet and exercise guidelines. Resilience and determination based on your positive attitude will get you to the winner’s circle with your weight loss goals even when there are setbacks!

Saying “YES” to Your Health

What can you do to make day-to-day choices easier such as completing your walk or ordering something healthy to eat when out to lunch with friends?

Developing positive inspiration is key to keeping motivated. 90% of your success will be a mental game of staying motivated to make good choices.

We suggest the use of 1 powerful phrase: “I’m going to say ‘yes’ to my health.”

When you are faced with a menu of tempting foods, and friends who are ordering the pasta, say quietly or silently to yourself: “I’m going to say ‘yes’ to my health” and watch how ordering the chicken salad becomes much easier to do. Saying “yes” to your health is inspirational and will keep motivation high.

Staying inspired and positive also works for exercise goals. We’ve all experienced the scenario where we don’t feel like doing our walk or exercise routine. Again, whisper to yourself: “I’m going to say ‘yes’ to my health and go on my walk” and watch yourself walk out that door!

It may not be the most vigorous walk you ever took, it may not be your best effort, but you still will have incorporated a walk into your routine, and that’s what counts! Changing life habits takes persistence…And motivation developed from a positive attitude.
